Affiliate Disclosure

How this site earns money, in plain language.

ChateauDif.com is free to use. It is funded by affiliate commissions: when you click certain links and make a booking, the company you book with may pay us a small share, at no extra cost to you.

Who we work with

  • GetYourGuide — tours, boat trips, tickets and activities. Links and booking widgets carry our partner reference.
  • Booking.com — hotels and other accommodation. Hotel links go to Booking.com, and we may earn a commission if you book.

What this means for you

You pay the same price as you would by going to those sites directly. Bookings, payments, changes and refunds are handled entirely by the provider, under their terms.

What it does not change

You can visit the Château d'If without booking anything through us — by public shuttle and an entry ticket bought on the island — and we say so throughout. We recommend a paid tour only where we think it adds something, and we choose tours and hotels on content, reviews and usefulness, not on commission. We do not accept payment for inclusion or ranking.

Prices and availability

Prices, ratings and review counts shown here are indicative and were correct when last checked. The live figure on the provider's site is the one that applies.

Plan your Château d'If trip

Summer boats fill up. Book before you go.

In July and August the crossings to If and Frioul and the Calanques cruises run full, and the Mistral can cancel a day at short notice. Reserve early and keep a spare day — most tours can be cancelled free of charge.
